Thanks for the comment! My first one! Yes, I'm working on that. I whipped this up really quick and haven't had the chance to customize it at all. I'm trying to get the google ads on the left margin actually, because you're right they are "kind of" distracting.

You should try to get rid of those google ads after every entry! :) AND, you can add personal touches to your template.
