This contains the same circularity as the phrase I regularly use: one of the most important achievements is to know what you do not know.

Yes, very good observation.

I also use a variant of that expression sometimes. And every time I do, it's still enjoyable for me to think about the subtle dynamic involved in striving to know what we don't know.
